By being incorporated into door, wall, floors and ceilings, intumescents provide protection to escape routes, enabling a safer evacuation by giving protection and time for everyone to escape.
Fixfire® carry extensive stocks of fire and smoke seals in a range of colours and finishes including wood effect versions. Most types are available with a brush or elastomeric rubber fin cold smoke seal. Other products held in stock include intumescent air transfer grilles to provide ventilation to boiler rooms, etc., intumescent collars to protect PVC pipes that penetrate fire compartment walls, intumescent mastics and silicones and fire resistant expanding foam.
