This project involved upgrading and extending the Fire Alarm, Fire-Door Hold back, Access Control and Call Systems installations as part of a new 14 bedroom extension.
The existing conventional Fire Alarm System was replaced with a new CT Range 2 Loop addressable Fire Alarm System including increasing the existing coverage for Category L1 compliance.
Wall mounting door retainers are installed to corridor doors and Free-swing Door Closers to all bedroom doors.
CareDoor access control systems are installed including CareXit to perimeter exit doors in conjunction with CareLock monitored electric locks. In addition, the systems are interfaced to automatically release on activation of the Fire Alarm System.
The existing lamp based Call System comprised of a single display panel and was replaced with a new CareAlert 600 Call system comprising Display Units in strategic positions throughout the home, Call/Reset points in all bedrooms, day rooms and toilets. Pull cords with twin reassurance LED's are installed in each toilet, bathroom and all en-suites. The system incorporates full IP on-line call logging enabling staff to view all system activity and download reports.
