Fixfire® provided Fire Alarm cover and Extinguishers at this site for the contractors carrying out the removal of the external cladding on the two residential apartment blocks, in the wake of the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower in 2017. These blocks are currently occupied, and this removal work is being carried out without the need to rehouse the residents.

Fixfire® has supplied Fire Kart trolleys complete with Ultimex Fire Extinguishers and the latest generation HireAlarm® wireless break glass call points incorporating First Aid call button. The combined units provide effective protection at the landings on each level of the external scaffolding used by the contractors.

In order to identify which alarm has activated, a FireSentry™ Alarm Base station was installed in the main contractor's Site Office. In the event of an activation of any unit, the specific location is identified thus facilitating the site fire evacuation policy.
