St Andrews Healthcare is an established Mental Healthcare provider, located in Northampton on a 103-acre site with additional locations in Birmingham, Nottingham and Essex.

The Main Centre upgrade project followed a Fire Risk Assessment and included extension of the existing Fire Alarm Systems protecting this sprawling iconic Victorian era building. Automatic Fire Detection coverage was expanded to meet BS5839:1-2017 Category L1. The scope also included the installation and configuration of a fault-tolerant network incorporating 21 No systems.  Over 2KM of enhanced fire resistant cable was installed!

Fixfire® has been involved with this client since the early 80’s and this is testimony to an enduring partnership and quality of products and service that have stood the test of time.

The main Northampton site includes several very large networked systems amongst the 57 No systems installed. The estate is protected by approximately 13,500 field detection devices. Fixfire® has progressively upgraded the original infrastructure to a common open-protocol platform.

KeyCall® is installed extensively throughout areas accessible to ward areas and VoidAlert™ is similarly installed with the added benefit that planned maintenance is carried out with minimum disruption, especially to service users.

Fixfire® provides planned and reactive maintenance for the Fire Safety Systems and equipment.
