Princethorpe College is a Catholic independent day school located in Princethorpe, near Rugby, Warwickshire, England.

Princethorpe College is a mixed 11-18 independent Catholic day school with around 900 students, 200 of whom are in the Sixth Form.

Princethorpe College is part of the Princethorpe Foundation which comprises three schools including the Crescent School in Bilton, Rugby and Crackley Hall School and Little Crackers Nursery in Kenilworth.

Fixfire® has completed a progressive upgrade of the Fire Systems to an open-protocol platform. The current infrastructure includes several multi-loop ADVPlus Range Control & Mimic Panels which are connected via a fault tolerant network. The main building features ornate and challenging areas such as the Chapel and Fixfire® has installed a variety of solutions including VoidAlert™ which reduces life-cycle costs by simplifying ongoing maintenance. All works have been completed exercising great care to hide wiring for minimal visual impact.

There is an ongoing programme to upgrade the fire detection to Category L2. In 2014, the Sports Block was significantly extended to include Teaching Areas. The existing closed-protocol Fire Alarm System was upgraded and expanded to protect the new areas including the installation of HSSD Smoke Detection throughout void areas and the impressive atrium light wells. A Disabled Refuge Alarm was also installed in order to comply with Building regulations requirements.This significant site benefits from AlertLog™ the Fire Alarm Management Tool from Fixfire®. AlertLog™ provides instant notifications of any fault or fire event and also prompts when the weekly Fire Alarm test is due, even suggesting which device to test! All activity is logged on an on-line portal.

Fixfire® provides full planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with BS requirements.
