Fixfire®extended and upgraded the Fire Alarm System to comply with the requirements of BS5839-Part 1 2017 for a Category L2. All existing detection and alarm devices were replaced in line with manufacturer recommendations. Control Panels were upgraded to latest generation Open-Protocol ADV/Plus range panels in line with other iQ sites. Detection was enhanced in flat kitchens through the installation of multi-sensors over the dining areas, with provision for false alarm management through adjusting sensitivity of the smoke detection element.
